Privacy Policy

This policy explains how KC ProAdvisor handles information in connection with our website, client communications, bookkeeping, payroll support, QuickBooks setup and support, and business consulting services.
Information you provide
When you contact us, request an appointment, engage our services, or consent to text messages, we receive the information you provide. This may include your name, business name, email address, telephone number, appointment details, questions, message content, communication preferences, and information needed for the services you request. For SMS, this includes your mobile number and opt-in or opt-out information. Our contact form records your submitted contact details, message, SMS choice, submission date and time, and the consent wording and version shown to you. These records are stored server-side for KC ProAdvisor to review and are not publicly displayed. The SMS checkbox is optional and unchecked by default.
How information is used
We use information to respond to questions, arrange appointments, provide and support requested services, request payroll hours or missing bookkeeping information, send service-related reminders, and manage our client relationship and communication preferences.
Service providers and sharing
Information needed to provide requested services may be handled by authorized KC ProAdvisor staff, an authorized automated assistant acting on our behalf, and service providers supporting our communications, scheduling, and service delivery. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
Mobile information and SMS consent
We do not sell or rent mobile numbers, mobile opt-in information, or text-message consent. No mobile opt-in information or text-message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own use, including marketing or promotional purposes.
Messaging providers and carriers may process information only as needed to deliver and support our text messages on our behalf. This necessary service-provider processing does not authorize independent use of your mobile information or consent for marketing.

Website and external services
Our website links to Microsoft Bookings for scheduling and to other websites. When you follow a link or use an external service, that provider's privacy policy also applies to its processing of your information. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts; hosting and font providers process technical information, such as your IP address and browser request information, to deliver the page and its resources.
Your information and choices
Contact Jim if you have questions about information you have shared, want to update your contact details or communication preferences, or want to request deletion of information. Some records may need to be retained to provide services or meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or confidential client files by ordinary text message or email. Ask Jim how to provide sensitive information for your engagement.
